Bank Street, which is located caddy-corner to the parking garage is unlike anything else in the area. It is huge!
There is a full bar on each side of the property as well as two impressive patios. Both patios are designed for comfortable seating and can accommodate large parties.
You can also order delicious food here. Along the first patio is a group of buildings with graffiti that have walk up windows with marvelous aromas that entice customers to order food.
There is also a stage that hosts live music weekly, and even cornhole boards.
Bank Street is open 7 days a week.
#2 The Black Sheep On Broadway
The Black Sheep On Broadway is a throwback to an old-time hangout.
Rustic in its décor, it is a small venue with a single bar and only a few tables.
However, it features cold drinks, live music, a dartboard, and lots of fun. Food choices here fall into the “bar food” category with burgers, wings, wraps, and salads. And it is all delicious.
The Black Sheep now also hosts private parties and events that bring in large crowds.
This is what is called a “happening place”.

#3 Infinite Ale Works
Well, it just couldn’t be an eclectic downtown without a brewery, could it?
Infinite Ale Works arrived on the scene in 2014 and immediately became an Ocala favorite.
Located just a couple of blocks from the square, this production brewery specializes in creating their own Belgian inspired beers.
There is a very nice outdoor space that has live music along with the bar/indoor area which is also very enjoyable.
A food truck supplies great tasting treats to go along with the exotic beer choices.
This may be the coolest place in Ocala!

#4 O’Malley’s Alley
Another Ocala downtown square favorite is O’Malley’s Alley.
There is nothing fancy here, just a good-old-fashioned Irish Pub. Located right next to Mark’s Prime Steakhouse, this bar has everything you need.
There is a dining area and bar when patrons first enter and an outdoor area that has been completely renovated. The outdoor area which features a stage and two additional bars, has been repainted and now sports a clean, rustic look. There are also jukeboxes in both the outside and inside sections.
There are drink specials every night, and activities that add to the fun. The most popular is free oysters and live music on Friday from 5:00-:8:00 pm.

#5 The Keep Downtown
One of the coolest places that many people don’t know about if The Keep Downtown.
This establishment was known for 20 years as the Ocala Wine Experience. New owners arrived on the scene, made some changes and viola, The Keep Downtown was born.
There are upstairs and downstairs sections here. Upstairs is what is termed the “red carpet lounge” where guest can try new wine, eat, and make new friends.
There is also a Mediterranean-style patio downstairs where smoking is allowed.
To top it off, there is a retail wine shop full of premier wines and plenty of accessories.
The Keep Downtown is open Wednesday through Saturday.
